- Please read the Founding Prospectus and the following related regulations.
Then fill in the Membership application both of forms 1 -2, and send them
to the ISLIS Head Office.

The Charter of the society
Chapter 3 Membership and Fees
Article 5. The Society shall be comprised of members who agree with the
aims of the Society and meet standards established by the Society.
1. Professional Member: A person who has professional achievements anda
research background. 2. Regular Member: A person who is research -oriented.
3. Student Member: A student who is deemed suitable for membership. 4.
General Member: A person who is deemed suitable for membership. 5. Practical
Member: A person who has acquired skills through practicalexperience and
training, and is deemed suitable for membership. 5. Supporting Member:
An individual or a group who agrees and supports the aims of the Society
and is suitable for membership. 6. Honorary and other memberships.
Article 6. Members (excepting honorary members) must pay the membership
fees shown in the Regulations and Rules.
Article 7. Members who disgrace the Society or do not pay their fees can
be removed by a decision of the Regular Board of Direc-tors.
Regulations of the Society
Fees
1. The annual / initial Fees are as follows and shall be pre-paid by all
members (excepting honorary members).
1.1 Fees for the members in Japan

Supporting Member (group) 40,000 Yen/ unit / year 10,000 Yen
Supporting Member (individual) Payment in a lump sum that exceeds 300,000
yen or (80-the age at application ) x 10,000 yen, whichever is larger.
1.2 The fee for members outside Japan is determined by their countries'
financial situation.
2. Members who do not pay the fee for more than one year shall be removed
from the membership roll.
3. The fee that was paid once is not returned in prin-ciple.
Rules of the society
Standards for Admission
The Society shall be comprised of members who agree with the aims of the
Society and meet standards established by the Society. 1.Professional Member
is a person who agrees with the aims of the Society and has professional
achievements and is research-oriented. The person must have principally
written more than three academic papers concerning the Society's fields
and have the recommendation of two members of the Board of Directors of
the Society or one Board of Directors member and one Professional Member.
2.Regular Member is a person who agrees with the aims of the Society andis
research-oriented. The recommendation of two members of the Board ofDirectors
of the Society or one Board of Directors member and one ProfessionalMember
is necessary.
3.Student Member is a student who agrees with the aims of the Society and
is suitable for membership.
4.General Member is a person who is stuitable for membership.
5.Practical Member is a person who agrees with the aims of the Society,
has acquired skills through practical experience and training, and is suitable
for membership. The recommendation of two members of the Board of Directors
of the Society or one Board of Directors member and one Professional Member
is necessary.
6.Supporting Member is an individual or a group who agrees with the aims
of the Society, supports the Society and whose background is suitable for
the Society.
7.Membership shall not be utilized for profit motives.
