Abstract:
We are gathered together to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Founding the International Society of Life Information Science (ISLIS). The 40th Symposium with the main theme “Healing and Wonderful Phenomena” is to be held on August 28-31, 2015 at “Irinoya”, Hase, Ina City, Nagano, Japan in a camp format. This place is famous as a Ki-Village and Bunkui-Toge. Twenty years of activities of the ISLIS and the promotion of “Human Potential Science” are reviewed since the Society’s Foundation in 1995. ISLIS has sought and continues to seek the realization of the paradigm shift from material-oriented science and technology to a new paradigm including the consciousness, spirit and mind through research based on empirical and positive scientific methodologies, and consequently, to promote the development of health, social welfare, and education, as well as social and personal peace of mind, and to contribute to the making of a peaceful world, at one with nature. Since the foundation of ISLIS, 40 Life Information Science Symposia have been held and issues of the International Society of Life Information Science (Journal of ISLIS) have been published regularly twice a year. ISLIS held the “Human Potential Science International Forum” in Chiba, Japan in 2002, the “International Conference on Mind Body Science” in Seoul, Korea in 2004 and the “7th Psi Meeting” was held in August 2011 co-sponsored by ISLIS and the Facludades Integradas ‘Espirita’ (Curitiba, Brazil). ISLIS published the book Human Potential Science in 2004. ISLIS has a worldwide presence with 11 International Information Centers and about 230 members in 15 countries. The 41th Symposium will be held on March 19-20, 2016 at Ohmori Hospital, Toho University, Japan.

“New Horizon” of Physics with respect to the PF model
Takashi TANEICHI
IRI Institute of Theoretical Physics
Abstract:
The parasite fermion model is a proposition of a novel scheme of existence of material particles realized in high-dimensional universe. An attempt to apply the model to the mind-body problem shows that paranormal phenomena can be subjects of physics based on the multi-dimensional universe picture.

Studying the Correlations between Adiponectin and Ketone Bodies, and Visceral Fat in Ulcerative Colitis, Lung-bronchial Carcinoids and Recurrent Pancreatic Cancer Cases Treated by Integrative Medicine Coupled with 3 Days Fasting and Carbohydrate Restricted Diet, and Report of Clinical Improvements
Shinji NISHIMOTO
Nishimoto Clinic
Abstract:
The integrative medical treatment together with 3 days fasting (supplemented with 100 ml of low molecular weight fucoidan) and carbohydrate restricted diets exhibited higher values of ketone body and adiponectin in the cases of ulcerative colitis conditions, bronchial carcinoids and recurrent pancreatic cancers which revealed a tendency to show inverse relationships correlating with visceral fat. Based on the present cases, I report with some considerations about the results that the inverse correlation between high values of ketone body as well as adiponectin and visceral fats suggests the possibility of such inverse correlation will be more reliable prognostic indicator for improved symptoms.

Level of Success and the Reasons for This Factual Study

Abstract:
Japanese men have more interest in their level of success than their level of happiness. This study investigated the rate of people who are successful, the major factors behind this success and what people lack for success.

Level of Confidence/No Confidence and the Reasons for This Survey Results
Akiyoshi OSHIMA
President of Word Laboratories Inc.
Abstract:
We can see that the ability to get things done varies significantly depending on whether a person has confidence or not. We also learn that 30% of Japanese people do not have confidence. This survey explored what is important to instill confidence.

Fusion of the Space Science and the Brain Science – A New Possibility of the Materialism -
Takashi TANEICHI
IRI Institute of Theoretical Physics
Abstract:
Development in the modern physics shows us the possibility of the universe consisting of more than 4 dimensions. Fundamental theories of the modern physics, that is, the quantum field theory and the relativity, are nevertheless based on 4 dimensions. This conflict suggests the possibility that further development in theoretical physics may explode, in some form, our current common sense including the critical issue concerning the relation between the mind and the brain, represented by life after death. With the emphasis on the parasite fermion model, that is one of the establishment of theoretical physics, underlying possibility in physics, and its relation to the artificial intelligence, is discussed. .

EEG θ Waves During Various Meditations
Kimiko KAWANO
International Research Institute
Abstract:
Kasamatsu and Hirai1) reported that EEG θ waves increased greatly during Zen meditation. They named such phenomenon as the θ burst. And recently people have generally larger concern to the θ waves than a waves during qigong and various types of meditations and healings. The θ waves are basically waves appearing in the drowsy state after the a waves disappear with lowering of alertness. Kawano and colleagues2) have carried out EEG measurements for Zen priests and reported that the θ waves did not increase significantly, but in the deep state of meditation a few appeared concurrently with the a waves. And also in qigong and other meditation methods of healings, the present author has observed that the frequency of the a waves became lower in the deep state of meditation, especially of self-release type meditation, and then the a waves shifted to the q band. The mechanism of the θ generation during meditation is probably different from that in the drowsy state. The θ waves of meditation must be mainly the component of the slow a waves. In this presentation, the θ waves during meditations will be further discussed using various case studies.

Abstract:
In 2013, we reported the existence of a meditator’s non-contact effect toward edible cucumber slices used as bio-sensors with which the meditator had no direct physical contact [1]. Next, we investigated the time transition of the non-contact effect experimentally. We discovered that the effect is associated with an unexplained functions of a pyramidal structure [2]. The meditator’s non-contact action with a pyramidal structure creates a delayed effect over an extended period of time (10 or more days). This non-contact effect is considered to result from the conversion process of the meditator’s non-contact action. The conversion process is inferred to be the following two-step reaction. 1. The meditator’s action (input) is accumulated in the pyramidal structure, and it is converted into another action. 2. The converted action (discharge) is detected by the bio-sensors. We were able to approximate this anomalous non-contact effect with the delay by a mathematical formula describing a transient response phenomenon of the second order lag element system of control theory. We believe that the report of these discoveries will provide society a great impact and open a new field in science. This speech is due to report an unexplained functions of a pyramidal structure by reference [2].
